Morgantown Freight Hosts Truck Rodeo

On Saturday May 2nd, Morgantown Freight, owned by Mike Rone, celebrated 30 years of business by inviting the community to their business for good food and friendship. Among the various items available were hamburgers, hot dogs, fresh fruit, pulled meats, soda, water,and much more. Lunch was served at 2pm. A big truck bounce house was available for the children and provided by Double K Amusements.

The capstone of the afternoon was a "Truck Rodeo" in which multiple drivers were pit against one another in friendly contest to determine the superior driver via points scored on a short obstacle course. Among the challenges were a straight pull and stop, back in and stop, and parallel park. Every driver used the same truck to keep the playing field level among the contestants.
