The youth at Mt Olivet Baptist Church worked hard this past Wednesday night fixing goodie baskets to give to several law enforcement offices during the Sunday service.  They also donated their Vacation Bible School offering to help the Shriners Children's Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, and the Lewisburg Fire Department.

Parents and students of North Butler Elementary,

It is with great excitement that I welcome all of our students, faculty, and staff back to Morgantown Elementary School. We are a school of enthusiastic learners and a dedicated, experienced faculty and staff. I anticipate this to be one of the greatest years in the history of our school.

Incoming 9th graders:  We expect that you are excited and looking forward to beginning high school.

There will be a baby shower in honor of Eric & Kate (Hocker) Britt at Morgantown Elementary gym from 2 to 3:30 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2016.  The parents to be are registered at Babies R Us.  All friends and relatives are invited to attend. 

Susan Embry and Casey Fowler, along with big sister Bailee would like to announce that they have a new member of the family! Jaxon Casey Fowler was born May 31, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Jaxon came bouncing in at 8:42 p.m. weighing 8lbs and 3 oz. and was  21 inches long.
The proud grandparents are Debby & Dennis Lanham, Jeff Embry (all of Morgantown), Camellia Johnson (Lewisburg) and Marvin Fowler (North Carolina).  Great Grandparents are James and Allean Embry (Morgantown) and Shirley C Whisnant of North Carolina.

The Butler County Jr. Pro Football partnered with the Butler County High School Football staff to hold a fundraiser for all ages to enjoy at the BCHS football field on Saturday, July 9^th.   Several from the community came out to enjoy a break from the rain and to participate in the several activities that took place.  The main attractions were the car, truck, and tractor show, as well as the Big Green Egg cooking competition.

The Parents of Brittany Evans & Nathan Hampton are proud to announce their engagement & forthcoming marriage. Brittany is the daughter of Brent & Carol Evans of Morgantown. Nathan is the son of Matthew Hampton & Laura Beth Moore of Morgantown. The wedding will be held July 30th 6:00 pm, New Harmony Baptist Church 6683 State Rt. 269 Beaver Dam Ky. Reception to follow at the Logansport Church Camp. All Friend & Relatives are invited to attend.
