Car, truck, tractor and motorcycle enthusiasts take part in Quality Cruise-In

Saturday, June 25 marked the 2016 edition of the Quality Cruise and Swap held in downtown Quality, Kentucky.  There were plenty to do and see all day.  There were all kinds of cars, trucks, tractors, and motorcycles on display.  There were hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, desserts and sodas, as well as a good supply of pork rinds and homemade ice cream.  A popular event, people from all over the state and outlying areas came to compete, eat and enjoy.  The sweltering heat did nothing to dampen the crowd and spirits.

Aberdeen Baptist Church VBS

The Aberdeen Baptist Church conducted its annual Vacation Bible School with the theme, "Submerged."The students went down under in the depths of the sea searching the insurmountable riches of God's Word. Each day there was an average attendance of 214 with over 260 enrolled. Fourteen young people made professions of faith. Pastor Roger Taylor would like to thank the community and area churches for working together to make this such a great event for the churches and the entire community. Thanks to Bro. Thank You from the Edra Dean Hampton Family

We the family of Edra Dean Hampton would like to take the time to express our sincere gratitude to our loving community.  The outpouring of love and support during her time of sickness and passing has been overwhelming, but in a very good way.  From donations given in her memory to the arts guild and Cancer Assistance, to the beautiful flowers and delicious food provided, we greatly appreciate it all.  May your kindness and generosity continue to spread to those in need, but more importantly, may it be a testament to others to always pay it forward.
Sincerely,

McKinney honored by MB&T

Several friends and family members gathered on Friday afternoon to celebrate Lesia (Drake) McKinney's retirement from Morgantown Bank & Trust.
"My actual last day is next Friday, but I was afraid I would be too emotional to celebrate and leave the same day," said McKinney.
