On May 28, 2016, the director of Butler County Library Kenna Martin was honored on her birthday as V.I.P. in the flower garden of Award-winning Author Linda J. Hawkins.

Miss Martin has always been an advocate for good times for the many children she has served over the years. She read the book, “I’m a Little Teapot” Mrs. Hawkins enacted the story with the children as they all sang together.

There will be a baby shower for Scott and Kara Flener on Sunday June 5th, from 3-5 pm. This is a come and go shower at the home of Sarah Ward. Come join us as we prepare to welcome Baby Will. Kara is registered at Babies R Us and Chatters.

Blake Tomes was Honorary Butler County Judge Executive for the day.  Blake is the 10-year-old son of Brandon and Deana Jo Tomes and a fourth grader at North Butler Elementary. As a fundraiser the North Butler Elementary PTO auctions days with county officials and local businesses during their Fall Festival.
