Grand Jury Indictments: Drug Trafficking, Rape, Theft among charges

The Butler County Grand Jury has returned indictments against 15 individuals for a variety of offenses.  They include drug trafficking and possession, first degree rape, fleeing or evading police, theft, and receiving stolen property, among other charges.

Radiothon nets over $18K for Morgantown Mission

The Annual Radiothon for the Morgantown Mission began with the goal of collecting enough pledges to fill 500-holiday food baskets for needy local families. It ended four hours later with 605 baskets pledged and over $18,000 raised.

Several people, businesses, groups, churches, farmers, county officials, sports teams, and organizations came to show their support for the Mission.
