Butler County Farm Bureau recognized for outstanding membership and program achievement

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 2, 2022) – Butler County Farm Bureau was recognized during the 103rd Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) annual meeting in Louisville for its outstanding membership and program achievement in 2022. The award honors county Farm Bureau offices that meet the company’s profitability requirements and whose insurance policy growth meets or exceeds its annual growth goal.

Radio Auction nets over $8K for Boys' and Girls' Club

The Annual Boys & Girls Club's Radio Auction hit the airwaves on Saturday, November 19, in the lobby of Morgantown Bank & Trust. Bruce White and Jason Jones kicked things off on WLBQ 101.5 FM at 8:00 a.m. and the phones started ringing. By the end of the auction, the total raised was $8,626.50.

Community honors, remembers veterans; Congressman Guthrie keynote speaker

Students, community members, and veterans assembled on Friday, November 11 - Veterans' Day - to remember and honor those who have served this nation in the United States military.  The event kicked off at 9 a.m. at the Butler County High School gymnasium and it marked the return to the traditional format that had been put on hiatus since the Covid pandemic.
