State police to do collision analysis on I-65

The Kentucky State Police accident reconstruction team will be working periodically this week at the site of the Thursday-night collision on northbound Interstate 65 that resulted in six deaths.

KY Fish & Wildlife Officer's Actions Result in DUI Arrest

On Tuesday night David A. Bowlds was observed pulling out of Dabbs Apartments on Rochester Road by off-duty Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Officer Ethan Vincent.  He observed Bowlds almost strike an unknown female walking on the side of the road.  Vincent contacted Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Reneer and continued to follow the vehicle.

Senator Embry joined Governor Bevin at the signing of Senate Bill 73

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Senator C.B. Embry joined Governor Matt Bevin on June 28 at the state capital for the ceremonial signing of Senate Bill 73, relating to autocycles. Senator Embry, the bill’s primary sponsor in the 2017 Session of the Kentucky General Assembly, and Governor Bevin were also joined by autocycle enthusiasts and distributors from around the state.

Fiscal Court Makes Donations to Boys & Girls Club & Southern KY 2-1-1, also Approves Social Host Ordinance

Butler County Fiscal Court met in regular session on Monday at the Butler County Courthouse.  All magistrates were in attendance.  

After approving the minutes from the June 26, 2017, and June 30, 2017, meetings, they started with new business before the court.  Fourth District Magistrate David Whittinghill made a motion to approve the second reading and adoption of the Social Host Ordinance.

Warren RECC's Annual Meeting July 11th

Warren Rural Electric Corporation's Annual Membership Meeting will be held Tuesday, July 11, at South Warren High School, 8140 Nashville Road, in Bowling Green.  Registration begins at 4 p.m., with the business session at 6 p.m. All members registering will be given a gift, as well as free food and Chaney's ice cream.
Back by popular demand, The Martin Family Circus will for the third consecutive year be the featured entertainment.
Children's activities will include a bouncy house, and Broadway the Clown will entertain the young and those young at heart.
