Shoplifting @Ace Hardware

On February 6th at approximately 10:47am, Officers of the Morgantown Police Department responded to Ace Hardware in reference to shoplifting that occurred the day prior. During the investigation, Travis L. West age 40 of Morgantown KY was identified as the suspect. After locating Travis West on Heritage Ln, he was charged with Poss Cont Sub, 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine), Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess, Poss of Marijuana and Receiving Stolen Property U/$500. Butler County Sheriffs Department was assisting on scene. Travis was lodged in the Butler County Jail pending further charges.

Also recovered were several security cameras. Contact the police department if you have had a theft of one specifically Officer Ronald Cox.
