Teacher arrested, facing charges
A local teacher is facing charges stemming from a January 7 incident in Logan County. According to law enforcement sources, Bryant L. McClellan, (DOB 1/16/70) of 524 Russellville Road, Rochester, Kentucky, was arrested on January 7, 2013, in Logan County and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs (.08, second offense). McClellan is a teacher in the Butler County School District. He was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center and released on a $2,500 cash bond. His arraignment has been set in Logan County District Court for January 23, 2012.
McClellan’s first offense of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs .08 occurred on October 19, 2010. He posted bail of $588.54. A jury trial has been set for June, 19, 2013.
All individuals facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
