Warren RECC President and CEO W. Scott Ramsey announced that over 3,000 comments have been submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in opposition to the agency’s proposal to limit carbon dioxide emissions from existing power plants. The comment period closed on December 1.

Local firefighters and emergency personnel responded to a fire this afternoon, Friday, November 28, at Aleris International's Morgantown plant on Gardner Lane. The fire apparently started in the shredder building of the facility - not in the main part of the plant.
