MB&T employees donated in 2012

The Morgantown Mission and WLBQ 101.5 have joined together for the third year to raise money for holiday food boxes. According to Garry McKinney, director of the Mission, they need 200 boxes for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.

The campaign is over, the votes have been cast, and the city of Morgantown has a new mayor and one new council member.  Former Morgantown Chief of Police Billy Phelps has been elected Mayor of Morgantown.  Phelps received 362 votes to 320 votes for Terrell House, and 65 votes for C. Josh Givens.

The Butler County Rural Development Clubs hosted their annual meeting on Saturday night at the Eva Hawes Agricultural Expo and Community Building.  A crowd of over 80 people gathered to celebrate the Rural Development Clubs.
