The second item of business was to approve the second reading of the amendment to the 2014-15 Budget.  The amendment added the Industrial Holding Corporation’s budget to the City’s budget and changed the transfer to the IHC from $50,000 to $85,000. The motion was made by Allen Meredith and seconded by Dionne Merritt.

The last item on the agenda was the closing of the alley by the Morgantown Bank & Trust Data Center and Cassoa Masonic Lodge.  Chris Hughson addressed the Council with plans, maps, and consent from all land owners joining the property.  Morgantown Bank & Trust is planning to construct and drive- thru attached to the current Data Center.
