Morgantown Bank & Trust’s President and CEO, Tom Jones today announced plans for the addition of a new drive thru facility. The new facility will be attached to the current Data Processing center across from the main office.

The contract for the facility which will consist of three lanes as well as a pass thru lane has been awarded to local contractor, Coleman Contracting Inc.

Several years ago the bank made the decision to close its main office drive thru facility due to the poor condition of the facility and has maintained drive thru facilities at its branch locations at Highway 70 and Morgan Manor.

President Jones states, “We feel this will be a great addition to the downtown area of Morgantown as well as an added convenience for our customers. The additional traffic should be a boost for local businesses and the added convenience goes along with our emphasis on providing the best customer service possible. We are very excited about this new facility.”

Construction is expected to begin as soon as all necessary paperwork has been filed.
