The Butler County Grand Jury returned indictments against 25 individuals on November 10, 2014.  Arraignment date for all the individuals is December 9, 2014 at the Butler County Courthouse.  Charges include sodomy, burglary, drugs, and flagrant non-support.

The Kentucky State Police recognized the promotion of 37 officers throughout the state at a ceremony held  at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort. One major, five captains, eight lieutenants and 23 sergeants were commissioned. Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient Sgt.
