Martha Ann Schaeufele, Bowling Green, KY, passed to her heavenly home on September 17, 2024, at the age of 86 with family at her side, marking an end to a full life. Born in Russellville, KY she moved to Bowling Green, graduating from Warren County High School in 1956, attending Bowling Green Business University. Martha was married to Johnny Schaeufele for 63 years until his passing in November 2022. Both Johnny and Martha were past members of Bethany Baptist, Alvaton; Eastwood; and Morgantown First Baptist. Martha was employed as a secretary at Warren Central High School and later working with Johnny at his Allstate Insurance Agency. Martha remarried Kenneth Searles in February 2024.

She is survived by their two children, Joanna Embry (Barry) of Bowling Green, Jay Schaeufele (Elaine) of Virginia; six grandchildren: Ammi Carter (Daniel) in Rhode Island, Aaron Embry (Jamie) of Bowling Green, John (V) of Virginia, Jacob (Diana) of Virginia, Britton Kelshaw (Trish) of Maine, and Emily Cormier (Jeremy) of Massachusetts and six great grandchildren: McKinley and Axel Embry, Owen and Aiden Cormier, and Nora and Ben Schaeufele. Martha is also survived by her many nieces.

There will be no viewing or funeral. Johnny and Martha chose direct cremation with a small family graveside service honoring them both to be held at Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 on September 26th. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. 

Martha will be missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors as she was selfless in her support.
