Sarah M. Phelps Lee

Sarah M. Phelps Lee, 77, of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. She was a Butler County native, daughter of the late Lester and Pauline Shepherd Phelps and wife of the late Eugene Lee for 62 years. Sarah was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church, factory worker at Kellwood for many years, homemaker and former owner of Lee’s Sorghum. Preceded in death by one son Ronnie Lee; sister Nola Embry and 2 brothers William and Randal Phelps.

Eugene Lee, 81, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at his residence. He was a Butler County native, the son of the late Tona and Ora Flener Lee and husband of the late Sarah M. Phelps Lee for 62 years. Eugene was of the Church of Christ faith, an Army Veteran, a member of Reedyville Masonic Lodge, the Rizpah Shrine Temple, retired from Butler County Road Dept., a farmer and former owner of Lee’s Sorghum. Preceded in death by one son Ronnie Lee, one brother Wilmer Lee and 4 sisters Irene Flener, Imogene Morton, Glayds Beach and Faustine Sunderland.

Theressia Gail Hammers age 60 of Clinton, TN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at her residence. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Theressia loved to sew, quilt, and work puzzles. She was preceded in death by her father William Cleo Carter; First husband, Paul Lynn Rhea Sr.; three grandchildren, Jonathon Rhea, Nicholas Hammers, and Jeffrey Hammers.

Ada Jane Cartwright, 98 of Quality, Kentucky died on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at the Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation Center in Morgantown, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, March 11, 1913 in Quality, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ebhard Harper and the late Ida Brown Harper. She was the wife of the late William Estil Cartwright.

She was a homemaker and a member of Quality Baptist Church.

Surviving are sons, James Cartwright of Morgantown, KY and Thomas Max Cartwright of Bowling Green, KY,
