C.W. Cox

Charles C.W. Cox age 84 of Morgantown Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green Ky. C.W. was born in Butler County on May 10, 1928 to the late Charlie and Lydia Burden Cox. He was a member of Leonard Oak General Baptist Church and was a retired coal miner for many mining operations. He was preceded in death by daughter Brenda Hunt,  son Robbie Cox, two son-in-laws David Young and Ronnie Hunt,  grand-daughter Kristy Havens, brother Neol Cox, and three sisters Mauline Elms, Mary Johnson, and Polly Keown.
C.W. Cox is survived by his wife Myrlene Cardwell Cox of Morgantown Ky., 2 daughters Linda Cox and Diane Young both of Morgantown Ky., 3 sons Randall Cox and wife Nancy of Morgantown Ky., Charles "Chobby" Cox and wife Lisa of Brownsville Ky., and Scott Cox and wife Barbara of Morgantown Ky. 18 Grandchildren, 26 great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thurday, January 3, 2013 at The Jones Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lindle Keown and Bro. Rodney Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Hill Haven Memory Gardens.

Vistation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, from 2:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel, and on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 8:00 am till funeral time at 1:00 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfuneralchapel.com
