Calvin Sanford

Calvin Sanford, 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at his residence. Calvin was born August 29, 1952 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Ray Sanford and Margie Nelson Sanford Childers who survives.  He was the owner and operator of S&S Cable Service and member of the USBC. Calvin enjoyed bowling, spending time at their river camp, horse racing with his family and riding his motorcycle with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Childers and one sister Carol Baker.

Richard "Harold" Coots

Richard "Harold" Coots, 59 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born October 15, 1961 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Dewey Harold and Aleta Embry Coots. Harold loved to hunt and watch wrestling. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Julie Hardin.

Monica Gayle Hunt

Monica Gayle Hunt, 63 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at her residence. She was born November 6, 1957 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Wendell and Mae Lue Lindsey Flener. Monica was a retired register nurse for the Barren River District Health Department and enjoyed working in her yard, sewing and visiting family and friends and going out to eat. She deeply loved her family but most of all she loved the Lord. Monica was a member of Green River Missionary Baptist Church.

Harrison Pendley

Harrison Pendley, 83 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his residence. Harrison was born November 21, 1937 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Vernon Paul and Rachel Susan Childers Pendley. He attended Union Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired coal miner, logger and farmer. Harrison loved coon hunting, bird hunting, his dogs and spending time with family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one son Tony Pendley and two sisters Pansy Kessinger and Mickey Kirby.

Opal E. Shields

 Morgantown- Opal E. Shields, 81, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at her home.  She was born in Butler County on March 15, 1939, daughter of the late Ellis and Lelia Gidcumb Hudnall. Opal was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed reading, making blankets and cross stitching.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lanny Ross Shields; sisters Hazel Hudnall, Dorsie Lewis and Mary Frances Riley; nephew Barry Riley; nieces Vonnie Thomason and Connie Riley.

Jeffery “Boomer” Scott Reneer, 50, of Caneyville, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020 at the Owensboro Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Ky. He was born in Louisville, Ky. on Nov 15, 1970 to Billy and Linda McIntosh Reneer . He was a Sales Rep for Airgas also established and pastored One Truth Community Church. He loved to hunt, fish and golf. Jeffery loved his family, friends and loved life. Jeffery was preceded in death by his grandfather Ellis McIntosh and father in law David Combs.

Voneda B. Johnson, 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Grayson Rehab and Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY. She was born January 9, 1934 in Butler County, KY to the late Adelbert J. and Mary Eva Goodall White and wife of the late Victor Johnson. Voneda was a homemaker, she enjoyed singing, growing flowers and going out to eat. She deeply loved her family with all her heart and soul. But above all was her love for the Lord. She was a faithful servant and member of East Fairview Church.

George was born October 20, 1938 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Woodford County Howe and Anna M. Bates Franklin. He was a member of Shelbyville Wesleyan Church in Shelbyville, KY and a retired tool grinder for Allied Bendix.

Lori Lynn McDaniel Chennault, 58, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Frankfort, In. on Sept. 28, 1962 to the late James and Anna Alcorn McDaniel. She was a caregiver and enjoyed her family, taking care of others, crafting, baseball and racing.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Billy, Jimmy and Robert McDaniel.

Carlos Eugene "Dude" Engler, 76  of Quality, Kentucky passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his residence. Eugene was born November 11, 1944 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of the late Jack and Melissa McKinney Engler. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one son Mark Grady Proctor and one brother Thomas Engler.
