Joyce McKinney Taylor

Joyce McKinney Taylor, 82, of Morgantown, KY, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at her residence. She was born July 30, 1938, in the Quality Community of Butler County, KY, to the late Rollie McKinney and Nellie Ann Proctor Osborne. Joyce was a member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing and crocheting. Joyce was retired from the Butler County Library. She was the operator and driver for the Book Mobile delivering books to Butler County homes for many years.

JoAnn Dolbee

JoAnn Dolbee, 73, of Camden, Tn. departed this life and began her heavenly journey on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. She was born in Detroit Michigan on Nov. 15, 1946 to the late Roy William and Cora Louise Belcher Green.  JoAnn was a retired nurse and a long time member of the Church of Living Waters Lighthouse in Williamsport, Indiana.  She loved reading, gardening and fishing.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis Vernon Dolbee and three sisters.

Deacon Earl Basham, 94, of Franklin, In. passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020. He was born in Butler Co., Ky. on Nov. 28, 1925 to the late Euen and Elsie Lamastus Basham. He was of the Christian faith and worked for the United States Post Office.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and a brother.

 Gordon W. Amos, 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his residence. Gordon was born February 7, 1943 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Herman and Ethel Shephard Amos and husband of the late Edith Fay Bratcher Amos. He was a United States Army Veteran and member of the 4th District Fire Department.

Jimmy Dean LaGrand

Jimmy Dean LaGrand, 56, of Scottsville, Ky. passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020. He was born in Warren Co., Ky. on July 25, 1964. He was a construction worker.  Jimmy was a graduate of Horlick High School in Racine, WI.  He was a Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed building model homes, kayaking, karaoke and fishing.

Larry Michael Havener Sr.

Larry Michael Havener Sr. 72 of Owensboro, Kentucky went home to be with Lord Friday, November 6, 2020 at Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, KY. He was born October 6, 1948 in Owensboro, Ky to the late Ed Havener and Virginia White Frakes and husband of the late Trilby "Nadine" Daugherty Havener. Larry was a mechanic for Frakes Transmission for many years and loved spending time at KY Lake with his family. He enjoyed fishing, painting and riding horses.

Ralph L. Brooks, 72 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday November 5, 2020 at the Tri Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Ralph was born August 13, 1948 in Butler County, KY to the late J W "Buster" and Augusta Adkins Brooks. He was a member of Temple View General Baptist Church and he retired from Delta Faucet Company. Ralph loved going to the beach, fishing and going camping with family and friends. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers Bobby Joe, David and Albert Brooks and one sister Judy Layne Brooks.

Violet Elizebeth (Geary) Burdin

Violet Elizebeth (Geary) Burdin, 84, of Horse Branch, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.  She was born on October 15, 1936, to the late Preston and Larua (Wells) Geary.  Violet loved life, loved to go shopping, loved driving around looking for deer, loved watching birds, and most of all, she loved her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded also in death by her husband, Scottie Burks; her twin daughters; two brothers, Estil Geary and Leslie Geary; a sister, Martee Sutherland; twin great-granddaughters; and two grandsons, Michael and Markus Priest.

Sheila Annette “Tubby” Hack

Ms. Sheila Annette “Tubby” Hack, age 52, of Mauckport, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2020, at her residence.  Sheila loved playing bingo and being outdoors doing anything, but especially fishing.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her fiancé, children and grandchildren.
