Calvin Sanford, 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at his residence. Calvin was born August 29, 1952 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Ray Sanford and Margie Nelson Sanford Childers who survives.  He was the owner and operator of S&S Cable Service and member of the USBC. Calvin enjoyed bowling, spending time at their river camp, horse racing with his family and riding his motorcycle with friends and family. He is preceded in death by his father Bill Childers and one sister Carol Baker. 

 

Calvin Sanford is survived by his wife of 49 years Karen Litsey Sanford; four children Alice Foster (Chris), Calvin Sanford JR., April Sutton (David) and Charles Sanford (Angela); 10 grandchidren; 10 great grandchildren; three brothers Scott Sanford (Jenny), Bryan Sanford (Lisa Springer) and John Sanford; seven sisters Kathy Steel, Brenda Simmons (Terry), Debbie Alexander (Bill), Teresa Anosky (Tom Bergman), Vicki Goodman, Rose Adler (Don) and Mary McCarty (Jerry); one sister in law Rose Honadle (Gary) and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

 

In light of the current health and safety risk the Sanford family has requested that all visitation and funeral services be privately held. Burial will be held in the Sanford Cemetery where Scott Wade (Sheila), Hunter Lutz, Justin Adler, Jacob, Baily, Jaelan and Kolt Sanford will serve as pallbearers.
