Voneda B. Johnson

Voneda B. Johnson, 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Grayson Rehab and Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY. She was born January 9, 1934 in Butler County, KY to the late Adelbert J. and Mary Eva Goodall White and wife of the late Victor Johnson. Voneda was a homemaker, she enjoyed singing, growing flowers and going out to eat. She deeply loved her family with all her heart and soul. But above all was her love for the Lord. She was a faithful servant and member of East Fairview Church. Many times she was heard singing and praising Gods name and praying for her children. The good Lord blessed her richly with children to great great grandchildren, a wonderful church family and a long healthy life. Dementia may have stolen her memories but it couldn't take away her salvation and love for Jesus Christ and her family. She sang praises unto him up until the end.

Voneda was a homemaker, but she was so much more.

Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one grandson Lucas Grubb; three brothers Freeman, Durward and Forrest White and two sisters Beulena and Violet White.
