Delois “Dee” Dockery,

Delois “Dee” Dockery, 89, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at her residence.   She was born in Butler Co., Ky. on December 18, 1931.  She was a member of Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at Kane’s Manufacturing and Kellwood for over 50 years. She was a gifted seamstress her whole life and continued to sew up until last year.  She loved to travel and was her own entrepreneur. Delois also loved to spend time with her family.

Ryan Austin Miller

Ryan Austin Miller, 27, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away on June 5th, 2021. Ryan was born on July 26th, 1993 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fishing, being around the water, working on cars, cooking, and helping others.

John W. Hunt

John W. Hunt, 69 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday June 22, 2021 at the Bowling Green Nursing and Rehab. John was born on Thursday June 1, 1952 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Clark Sr. and Luerine Staton Hunt and husband of the late Connie Cockerell Hunt. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and a retired custodian for Morgantown Care & Rehab. John enjoyed wood carving and spending time with his family and friends. Other than his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by two brothers Clark Hunt Jr. and Paul Lee Hunt.

Gerald Steven Coomes

Gerald Steven Coomes, 73, of Rochester, Ky, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at his residence. Gerald was born September 9, 1947 in Henderson, Ky to the late Joseph Dorval and Jeanelle Ware Coomes. He was one of the founders of Morgantown Plastics, later changed to Delta Faucet, retiring after 25 years. Gerald was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Morgantown, Ky and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Lorene E. Jenkins

Lorene E. Jenkins, 80 of Rochester, Kentucky passed away Monday June 14, 2021 at the Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greenville, KY. Lorene was born Thursday, September 5, 1940 in West Virginia to the late Zeremba and Virginia Pierce Baker. She was of the Pentecostal faith, a homemaker, and enjoyed going to yard sales and Flea Markets. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter Carol Gilson; one brother Eugene Baker; one sister Bernice Starcher; and one step son Monty Jenkins.

Darrell “Frankie” Taylor

Darrell “Frankie” Taylor, 49 of Morgantown passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  He was born in Bowling Green, KY. on August 21, 1971 to the late James “JC” and Clara Snodgrass Taylor.   Frankie was a jack of all trades.  He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Cassandra LeeAnn Raemsch, 46 of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Friday June 11, 2021 at her residence. Cassandra was born December 16, 1974 in Silver Springs, Maryland to Henry L. and Melanie Starcher Raemsch. She enjoyed crocheting, drawing, coloring, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Cassandra loved her pets Sabrina, Salem, and Timothy. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Marshall and Bernice Starcher and a grandfather Henry E. Raemsch.

Donald Bryan "Don" Locke

Donald Bryan "Don" Locke, 87 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 at his residence. Don was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1933 in the New Cypress Community of Muhlenberg County, KY. He was a member of Richland Missionary Baptist Church and served as song leader for Morgantown First Baptist Church for many years. Don was a 2nd Lieutenant and pilot in the United States Air Force and a retired 30 year Agriculture Teacher for the Butler County Board of Education. He was also a weekly writing columnist for the Green River Republican, Butler County Banner, and Beech Tree News.

Zaten Gabriel Clark

Zaten Gabriel Clark, 5, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 in Navarre, Florida.  He was born in Owensboro, KY on March 6, 2016 to Travis Clark and Christina Zwanzig Clark. He just graduated preschool from Morgantown Elementary. He loved playing with his brothers, never met a stranger and was always happy. Zaten loved to work in the shop with his papaw, ride four wheelers, cut grass and rough house with his daddy. He would always share and loved passing out crayons at church.  Zaten was a sweet little boy that will be greatly missed.

Brenda Sue Felty

Brenda Sue Felty, 70 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at her residence. Brenda was born on Friday April 20, 1951 in Butler County, KY late Archie J. and Daphna Leibolt Moore and wife of the late Jerry Allen and Otis "Randy" Randall Felty. She was a member of the Dexterville Homemakers and retired from the Butler County Board of Education as a bus driver. Brenda loved reading, gardening, dancing and spending time with family and especially her grandchildren.
