John W. Hunt, 69 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday June 22, 2021 at the Bowling Green Nursing and Rehab. John was born on Thursday June 1, 1952 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Clark Sr. and Luerine Staton Hunt and husband of the late Connie Cockerell Hunt. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and a retired custodian for Morgantown Care & Rehab. John enjoyed wood carving and spending time with his family and friends. Other than his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by two brothers Clark Hunt Jr. and Paul Lee Hunt.

John W. Hunt is survived by three sons Michael Scott "Hoppy" Hunt of Bowling Green, KY, Greg Hunt of Bowling Green, KY and Joseph Hunt of Aberdeen, KY; one brother David Hunt of Aberdeen, KY and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday June 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held in the Aberdeen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday June 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
