Its not often you get to come in from the cold and immediately decide between chili, beef stew, chicken noodle and a half-dozen other homemade soups. Guests of the Provo Rural Development Club did just that Friday night as they enjoyed conversation, hot soup and chili and deserts in abundance.

It just doesn't seem right that you are gone, we want to pick up the phone everyday and call you just to hear you say "I Love You" one more time. You have always been there for your family no matter what the circumstances were you would try your best to help. I guess God saw that you were tired and knew it was time to take you home, no more suffering and worrying Daddy. One day we will see you again.

The 4H Rabbiteers of Butler County showed a total of 21 rabbits at the Stonebelt RBA in Columbus, IN show last weekend.  There were 1,066 registered entries from 172 exhibitors. 

There will be a baby shower for Ryan and Dana Pendley on Sunday, March 17, 2013. It will be held at Richland Baptist Church from 2 – 4 pm.

They are registered at Target and Babies R Us. Come and help them prepare for their BABY BOY!!!

This is a one day event for women of all ages. It is going to be a day to uplift, energize, and inspire area women. Speakers include Pat Key, long time missionary, and Linda Cooper, Kentucky WMU President. Both are gifted speakers. There will also be special music by Resurrection Bound member, Donna Embry.  Along with door prizes, and free lunch. This event is for high school aged young ladies and women of all ages.  Faith Fest will take place Saturday March 23rd 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Gasper River Association of Baptist building across from the Morgantown City Park.

The Butler County Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group will meet on Friday, March 8, 2013, 12:00 noon at the Morgantown Boys’ and Girls’ Club.  Mr. Chip Kraus, Public Health Services Coordinator at the Barren River District Health Department, will speak on “Radon Education”.  Any grandparent currently raising a grandchild is invited to attend.  Lunch is provided; call the Youth Services Center at 526-4800 to register by Thursday, March 7.  Co-sponsored by the Butler County Youth Services Center and the Barren River Area Development Aging Services.

Butler County Area Technical Center has selected five students to represent each class for the month of February. Each of these students displays leadership qualities that made them eligible for this award. Congratulations to each one.

T. J. Hammers, (senior), has been selected as the BCATC Student of the Month for the Air Conditioning program. T.J. is very cooperative, volunteers to help other students in the class and shop, is maintaining good grades in the program, and he works very hard. His teacher is very glad to have him in his class.
