Butler County ATC Student of the Month-February

T. J. Hammer

Butler County Area Technical Center has selected five students to represent each class for the month of February. Each of these students displays leadership qualities that made them eligible for this award. Congratulations to each one.

T. J. Hammers, (senior), has been selected as the BCATC Student of the Month for the Air Conditioning program. T.J. is very cooperative, volunteers to help other students in the class and shop, is maintaining good grades in the program, and he works very hard. His teacher is very glad to have him in his class.

BCATC Health Science program has selected (junior) Laura Baseheart as February Student of the Month. Laura is an outstanding student who always strives to do her best. Her participation and hard work in class makes her shine. She is always smiling and takes every assignment serious. She wishes to have a career in nursing and with the traits she possess, she will be very successful.


The Industrial Maintenance program of BCATC has chosen Austin Lindsey, (senior), for February Student of the Month. Austin is a very well-mannered young man who has no problem with hard work. His work ethics are excellent in class and has a good personality as well. He is a great role model to other students and will do well in the workforce.

February Student of the Month for the Carpentry program is (senior) Forest Putnam. Forest is a pleasure to have in class. She has an optimistic attitude; she always wears a smile, no matter what the situation is. Forest is willing to tackle any project she is assigned. Her attentiveness and work ethic in the classroom and shop would qualify her for the “Gold” standard for a future employee.
 


Scott Mauzey, (senior), is the February Student of the Month for the Automotive Technology program. Scott is a team player. He is interested in learning and would like to further his automotive knowledge by attending South Central Kentucky Community and Technical College in Bowling Green this fall.
