Butler County Middle School will present awards for the spring 2012 K-PREP tests on Thursday, April 25 and on Friday, April 26, 2013.

 Last week while on Spring Break, four members of the Butler County High School SkillsUSA chapter attended the SkillsUSA state competition located in Louisville.  The students were taken by Jason Sharp, the Industrial Maintenance Instructor at the Butler County Area Technology Center.

Line Dance Classes-Wednesday evenings 5:30-7:00pm at the Education Complex.
Painting classes-Tuesday mornings beginning at 10:00 am, at the Education Complex.
Close To My Heart-Class will be April 27th.Will be making Cards- The fee is $35.00 which will need to be paid by the 15th (so supplies can be ordered)to Pam Pendley at the Education Complex or Jill Morris the Class Facilitator.

Evangelist Don Mathis will preach in Revival and Evangelistic services at Richland Baptist Church April 21 – 24 nightly at 7 pm.

Dr. Mathis is in his fourth year of full-time evangelism after serving as a pastor, as Executive Director/Minister of the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists, and as Director of Pastor-Staff Leadership with LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention.  He has preached in approximately 750 revival meetings.  He also serves as Staff Evangelist of Eastwood Baptist Church, Bowling Green.

The Butler County High Chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America attended the 68th Annual State Meeting in Louisville March 24-27.  Members participated in a variety of sessions addressing community service and leadership.   25 members participated in STAR Events competition.  Three teams/individuals placed in state competition:  Audrey Porter, Teach and Train, 2nd place; Shelby Austin, Caitlin Coleman, Delania Payton, Erica Daugherty and Haley Ford, Junior Parliamentary Procedure Team, 1st place; and Haley Adkins, Matthew Embry, Molly Sanders, Kortney Barbier, Jacob Mudd,

The Butler County High School Softball team, coaches, parents, and grandparents would like to say "thank you" to Susan and Ben Stivers of Versailles, Kentucky, for their hospitality and the amazing tour of Ashford Stud.  Also, a big thank you to Stock for cheering on the Bears. Everyone enjoyed the very informative tour.
