Thank You from Project Prom....

The BCHS Project Prom committee would like to thank the following for their part in making the 2014 BCHS Project Prom a success. We are pleased to announce, that because of all of these generous people/places, our students received over $11,000 in cash, 2 televisions, 2 laptops, 2 iPad minis, 2 wireless printers, 4 iPod docks, mini refrigerators, an x box, and much more. Our students are so fortunate to live in such a giving community that comes together to support them in all that they do!

Congratulations Ethan Burden!

Ethan Burden participated in the annual Lifeskills Walk for Autism on April 26th. The benefits from the walk goes to the Kelly Autism Program.Ethan is the 13 year old son of Tim and Angie Burden of Morgantown.

Car Show @ Huntsville Grocery

There will be a CAR SHOW on Saturday, May 10th at Damron’s Grocery and Garage in Huntsville, beginning at 9 a.m. with trophies awarded at 2 p.m. Rain Date is Saturday, May 17th. Categories include; Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, and Tractors, with trophies awarded for each category. Entry fee is $10 for the first entry, with second entry $5. BCMS Awards Program Set for May 6th

Butler County Middle School will present awards for the spring 2013 K-PREP tests on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
All students who received a Proficient or Distinguished in any area of the test will receive awards.
The awards ceremony for the current 8th graders will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The awards ceremony for the current 7th graders will begin at 9:00 a.m.
The awards ceremony for the current 9th graders will begin at 5:30. p.m.
The lists of students receiving awards will be posted in the front lobby of the school and in the 7th and 8th grade hallways by May 1st.

Benefit Auction for the Josh Tyree Family
Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 9 am at the Eva J.  Hawes Building in Morgantown, KY City Park
The Benefit is to help raise money for medical expenses Josh has from multiple brain surgeries and hospital admissions.

There will be several firearms, Titans tickets, Hot Rods Box seats, Cincinnati Reds Baseball Game tickets for June 8, 2014, gift certificates, gift cards, a child’s bike, and many, many more items in the auction.

Hankins- Hughes Household Shower

There will be a Household Shower for Shira Hankins and Wade Hughes on Sunday, May 4 starting at 2:00 at The Moore-Kent House located at 216 South Tyler Street in Morgantown. The couple are registered at Macy's, Bed,Bath&Beyond, and Target.  Hosted by: Kaitlin Harrison, Fawn Brosnan , and Abby Hankins.

Williams-Greathouse Wedding

Jessica Eva Lynn Williams and Jacob Ray Greathouse, along with their parents are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Jessica is the daughter of Angela Williams and Roger Brooks of Mammoth Cave, and Jamie Williams of Louisville.  Jessica is a 2008 graduate of Edmonson County High School and a 2013 graduate of Daymar College with an Associate's Sciences Degree. Jessica is employed by Oak Tree Eye Clinic in Central City.
