The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) will dedicate a historical marker to honor Revolutionary War officer Daniel Morgan and the town named for him at 1 p.m. CDT on Saturday, May 24, at Main Street and City Hall in Morgantown.

Our little blessing arrived on April 10, 2014 at 7:30 pm at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Owen weighed 6lbs 9oz and was 21 inches long.  Owens very proud parents are Alex Bonilla and Angelica Saunders from Louisville.  Alex Bonilla is a 2012 graduate from Butler Co. High School.  Maternal Grandmother, Linda Saunders, from Lorain, OH.

Now is the optimal time for Kentucky forage producers to cut hay to ensure they get good quality and yield.

WASHINGTON, May 13, 2014 — U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced that sign-up began May 5 for 2012 crop losses under the Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments (SURE) program. The program, established by the 2008 Farm Bill, provides for one final period of eligibility for producers suffering crop losses caused by natural disasters occurring through Sept. 30, 2011, for crops intended for 2012 harvest.
