Our little blessing arrived on April 10, 2014 at 7:30 pm at Nortons Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Owen weighed 6lbs 9oz and was 21 inches long.  Owens very proud parents are Alex Bonilla and Angelica Saunders from Louisville.  Alex Bonilla is a 2012 graduate from Butler Co. High School.  Maternal Grandmother, Linda Saunders, from Lorain, OH.

Now is the optimal time for Kentucky forage producers to cut hay to ensure they get good quality and yield.

WASHINGTON, May 13, 2014 — U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced that sign-up began May 5 for 2012 crop losses under the Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments (SURE) program. The program, established by the 2008 Farm Bill, provides for one final period of eligibility for producers suffering crop losses caused by natural disasters occurring through Sept. 30, 2011, for crops intended for 2012 harvest.

Butler County Middle School awarded students for outstanding performance in their 2013 K-PREP testing on Tuesday, May 6 in the BCMS gymnasium.

The following students were awarded:

North Butler Elementary School hosted a variety of events and activities on Tuesday May 6 beginning at 4 p.m. Student artwork was displayed in the hallway with works ranging from paintings and drawings to ceramic work. An art teacher was brought in from Grayson County to give an unbiased judgment of the works. Photos of the first place selections are featured in the gallery above along with other photos from the events of the night.

Girl Scout Troop 546 would like to Thank Everyone who bought and donated cookies from them! We were able to take a fun over night trip to Great Wolf Lodge! We are donating the cookies and a box of books and puzzles to The Chemo Center in Bowling Green!

The Top seller for Troop 546 is Ellie Martine, she sold 554 boxes!
