Butler County Adult Education will be giving away a 7” Kindle Fire HDX (wifi, 16GB) on May 26, 2014. The drawing will be held at our center at 12:00 p.m. The contest is open to: 

Current year (2013-2014), active students who have completed our orientation process, Smart Start, and to

-New students, who complete Smart Start/Orientation before May 20, 2014.

Students receive one (1) entry for completing Smart Start/Orientation. They can earn additional entries for:

-Completing 40 hours with a level gain (includes Smart Start/Orientation, NCRC, work completed in center and out of center and post-test). One (1) entry.

-Bringing a friend, who completes Smart Start/Orientation. One (1) entry. If a student brings in multiple friends and they complete Smart Start/Orientation, the student gets one (1) entry per friend.

-Completing an additional 20 hours of classwork. One (1) entry.

Students who haven’t been into the center in a while are invited to come in and reactivate their enrollment, so that they can be entered into the contest. Students who haven’t completed Smart Start/Orientation are also invited to come in and finish up.

We will be hosting a session of Smart Start/Orientation the week of May 5th. Classes will meet May 5th, 6th, and 8th. Students can choose between the a.m. session, (9:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) or the p.m. session, (4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).
