The North Butler Elementary principal selection committee would like the input from the North Butler School Community.  If you are a parent or staff member please respond either by paper at the school or on the Butler County Schools website link www.butlerschools.net

The Clark family reunion will be held at the Morgantown, Kentucky City Park on Saturday June 7th at the last pavilion on the left beginning at 11:00 a.m. and going until ???. Everyone is invited and asked to bring your favorite covered dishes and drinks, lawn chairs, genealogy information and/or pictures. Paper products and ice will be furnished.

To the residents of the first district, "Thank You"  for your support and for your vote. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as your First District Magistrate. Once again I am overwhelmed by your confidence in me as was reflected in this election. I am humbled by the amount of support I received throughout this campaign. I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving the great citizens of Butler County.

During our time of loss, we have been humbled by the acts of kindness shown to our family.  We would like to thank each church and individual for the flowers, food, cards, calls, and most of all, prayers.  A special thank you is extended to our Big Muddy Church family for the meal following the services and the love shown to us.  Finally, thank you to the Jones Funeral Chapel for the care and attention given to us before, during, and after the funeral services.We are especially thankful for the stories and testimonies of Carlos that were shared with us.  It is, and will continue to be,a ble

The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) will dedicate a historical marker to honor Revolutionary War officer Daniel Morgan and the town named for him at 1 p.m. CDT on Saturday, May 24, at Main Street and City Hall in Morgantown.
