On Easter Sunday, April 20th, the Adult Choir at First Baptist Church will present "Because He Lives."
Everyone is invited to attend this special musical presentation at 11:00 am. The Choir is under the direction of Bill Camp. Greg Wallace is the pastor.
All hearts and souls will find eternal hope as we celebrate the victorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior.

Diana G. Hankla, Author, of Hope Island, spoke to Butler County Writers group at the March meeting.She shared her love of writing and how Butler County publisher,Heart to Heart Publishing,Inc accepted her book for publication and her journey into the world of literary art.

Temple Hill Church will host our annual Easter Story and Egg Hunt on April 19. Children may have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny from 12:30 to 1:45. The Easter story will begin at 2:00 PM followed by the Egg Hunt. Everyone is welcome.

During the week of March 24th-28th, Butler County Middle School has been celebrating Operation Preparation – Career and College Readiness.  Each year the state of Kentucky, encourages schools across the state to bring awareness to career and college options for students after high school.

The Butler County Middle School DARE award ceremony and graduation was held on Friday March 28. 162 graduates sat in the gym and enjoyed an afternoon filled with great demonstrations and speaking before receiving their certificates.

Butler County High School hosted its annual career day on Thursday, March 27 with 56 field professionals. The presenters were there to share real-life experiences pertaining to their fields as well as answer questions from students that were interested.
