Cool Springs General Baptist Church Small Groups

If you are interested in joining any of the Small Groups listed below, you may sign up at our KIck Off Meal & Fellowshio on September 7th which will begin at 5:00pm at Cool Springs Church.  Or you can call the church office at 270 526-3553 and talk to Holly.  You do not have to be a member to attend! Small Group Studies will begin on September 14, 2014 from 6:30pm-7:30pm and will be held at the church through mid -November.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Community Education Classes for the Fall

Line Dance-Mondays from 5-7pm. Free. Held at the Education Complex.
Bears Den AfterSchool-Begins Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. A bus will bring your child to the Education Complex. You must pick the child up by 5:30pm.

Corvette Caravan

On Wednesday a caravan of between 500-1000 beautiful Corvettes selected Morgantown for a brief rest spot.  A portion of the caravan began in the Pacific Northwest, picking up participants along the way as they travel for several days before joining the Kansas and Missouri group. 
The caravan stopped in Morgantown and waited for the National Corvette Museum to contact the group with instructions to proceed.  An officer of the Kentucky State Patrol arrived in Morgantown to escort the caravan to Bowling Green.

Fugate-Lee Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Terry Fugate are very pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tessa Suzanne Fugate to Jaccob Ryman Lee.

Tessa is the granddaughter of Frieda and the late William McKinney and Margaret and the late Edward Fugate. She is employed as a Registered Nurse at Fairview Community Center in the OB Department.

Jaccob is the son of Jerry and Stephanie Lee. He is the grandson of Reathel and Thelma Farris and Buddy and Melvie Veteto and the late Tracy Lee. He is employed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

2014 Extension Field Day

The Butler County Extension Service/Butler County Farm Bureau Field Day will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Reedyville Rural Development Center.  The Reedyville Rural Development Center is located on Hwy. 185 south of the Roundhill intersection in Butler County.  The program will begin at 4:00 p.m.  Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church Hosts Neel Family

Clara Lee Missionary Circle and the First Baptist Church hosted Scott, Patti, Hannah and Jack Neel on Wednesday evening, August 13, 2014. at the church.  There was a wonderful pot-luck meal in the church Fellowship hall with 96 people attending.  Before the meal, it was announced that Representative C.B. Embry Jr. had returned from Frankfort with the approval from the state for beginning the work on the new fellowship hall.

Morgantown Church of the Nazarene Homecoming

Morgantown Church of the Nazarene in Aberdeen is celebrating Homecoming on Sunday, September 14th.  J.R. Ford will be the featured speaker and music will be provided by the Gospel music trio Living Proof.  The day begins with a service at 10:30 a.m. followed by a meal and a concert by Living Proof. The public is invited.
