Thank You from the Marjorie Cartwright Family

Words seem inadequate to express our appreciation and gratitude for the many acts of kindness during Marjorie's illness and death.  Thank you for your prayers, concern, calls, food, and cards.  A special thank you to Jan, Marty, Missy and the staff at Jones Funeral Chapel.  Also to Bro. Roger Taylor, Boyce Flener, Rebecca Mudd, Nancy Cardwell and the ladies of Aberdeen Baptist Church.

7th and 8th grade bands perform with the 5th grade band in the background.

With a jam-packed crowd piled into Butler County Middle School on Friday night, December 12, friends and family were treated to a special holiday performance by the 5th, 6th, and 7th grade bands.

With 110 band students in the fifth grade, 82 in the sixth, and 83 in the seventh, the combined band was 275 strong, which explains why the B.C.M.S. parking lot was full front and back with cars extended all the way to Morgantown Elementary.
