On Monday night the 2017 Miss Butler County Catfish, Miss Teen, and Miss Pre-Teen pageants open to Butler County residents only, was held at the Butler County High School.

Butler County Archery Booster Club's Community Yard Sale

The Butler County Archery Booster Club, led by Tammy Clark, organized a community yard sale fundraiser that was an enormous success.  On Saturday, June 24th, several from the tri-county area came to browse the deals they could find at the large sale.  Whether looking for clothing, collectibles, or odds and ends for crafts, it could all be found that day.

The Butler County Knitters and Crocheters meet at the Butler County Library each Monday at 11 am until noon.  It is a walk-in type group. Just come on in if you are interested or just want to visit. We have teachers for many types of knitting and crocheting and embroidery, a little sewing (advice mainly). Needlepoint, felting, temari, cross-stitch on cardstock for gift tags, tatting (we are looking for a teacher), and we are talking about trying rug hooking cutting our own strips of wool.  We will try just about anything a person can think up.
