BCHS Seniors Honored

Butler County High School honored the senior basketball players, dancers, and cheerleaders.

 

 Miss Jordan Chambers, daughter of  Samantha & Denny Chambers of Morgantown.

Jordan has cheered for 7 years. 

After graduation, she plans to attend Western Kentucky University to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. She’d like to become a preschool teacher.

Farm Bill Sign-Up Going on Now

Grain Farmers and those that own farmland where grain crops are produced need to be signing up now.  The new farm bill allows farmers to enroll in arc or plc and to update their yields.  These decisions are complex and a series of educational programs has been offered by extension to help people understand the program.  The last on being offered here is Feb.

Wilcox settling in as new secretary for counseling department

Mrs. Tonya Wilcox is the new secretary for the guidance counselors at Butler County High School.  She is a resident of Butler County and has worked as a para-educator for 12 years in BCMS, BCHS, and the Learning Center.  Before being a secretary, she was a teachers’ aide, worked in special education, and before that she actually was a cosmetologist 28 years.
