Bears Prepare For Upcoming Season

The BCHS Varsity Football program preps for scrimmage #2 at Caverna High School Friday, August 13th at Horse Cave, Ky. 2276 South Dixie Street.

The second scrimmage of the season takes on the format of a real game situation. Quarters one, two and three will be varsity, with the fourth quarter being JV. The kicking game is installed, both kickoff and punt formations but runbacks are whistled dead and not a part of the scrimmage.

Wilmington, DE– Jordan Qsar hit his team-leading 17th home run of the season in the Bowling Green Hot Rods (59-25) 10-3 loss to the Wilmington Blue Rocks (34-50) on Sunday afternoon at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, Delaware. The Hot Rods enjoy a league-wide off day on Monday before starting a six-game series with the Greenville Drive on Tuesday at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Hot Rods Held to Six Hits in Blowout Loss on Thursday

Gigliotti and Trevino extend hit streaks in loss  

Wilmington, DE– The Bowling Green Hot Rods (57-24) dropped the third game of a six-game series to the Wilmington Blue Rocks (33-48) in a 10-1 loss on Thursday night at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington, Delaware. The Hot Rods and Blue Rocks continue their series on Friday with a 6:05 PM CT first pitch.

Butler Co. Football 2021/ Scrimmage Aug. 6th

The BCHS Varsity Football program has been working daily preparing for the upcoming 2021 season. The Bears will host a tri-scrimmage at HOME this Friday, August 6th at 7pm on the BCHS campus.

 

The scrimmage opponents will be the Hart Co. Raiders and the Franklin Simpson Wildcats. This will be a controlled scrimmage with KHSAA game officials. The scrimmage can last two-three hours.

The Hot Rods will not be in action with Monday serving as a league-wide off day.
