BCHS Golf season going strong

The BCHS Boys Golf team completed their 3rd invitational tournament of the season on Saturday, September 14.  The Glasgow Scotties hosted the event at Willow Oaks Country Club. Andrew Gill (#1 golfer) posted the low score for the team with an 85. Jonah Swift was closely behind with an 87, followed by Adam Rogers with 109 and Zac Johnson with 112. The team score was 393.

Bears lead early but fall to Hart County 47-34

Butler County Cross Country 2019

The Butler County Cross Country team has had a strong start to the 2019 season.  Runners traveled to Bowling Green on Saturday, September 7 for the Purple Strider meet at Kereiakes Park.  The boys’ varsity team was led by Parker Smith with a 5k time of 20:00.

BCHS Volleyball

The Lady Bears Volleyball team was busy last week.  On Tuesday they hosted Barren County Trojanettes in a freshmen-junior varsity-varsity match up.  It was the first game of the year for the freshmen team, who only have two true freshmen.

Bears beat Panthers 20-15; break 23-game losing skid

It was a sweet night for Butler County High School football on Friday as the Bears handed long-time rival Russellville a 20-15 defeat at Rhea Stadium  The win broke a 23-game losing streak for Butler County dating to the final playoff game of the 2016 season. The win also marked the first time Butler County has notched a win over Russellville since the 1991 season.
