AAA: Gas Prices End the Year on a Higher Note

Gas prices in West Central Kentucky are three cents lower this week at $2.862, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.  Despite this small decline, prices in the region end 2021 nearly 80 cents higher than this time last year.

Average price during the week of December 28, 2020           $2.070

Chad’s expanding its billboard business

A local company is growing its presence in the billboard industry with a recent expansion.  Chad’s Outdoor Billboards, LLC began in 2013 with nine wooden billboards.  With the recent expansion, the company now has a total of 48 billboards  across ten locations.

Kentucky State Police Investigates Fatal Collision in Butler County

Roundhill, KY. (December 18th, 2021) – On Friday, December 17th, 2021, at approximately 11:03 p.m. the Kentucky State Police Post 3, Bowling Green, was requested by the Butler County Sheriff's Office to respond to a fatal collision in Butler County.  Troopers arrived at the scene of the collision located near 2936 Reedyville Road in the Roundhill community.

Embry, Deweese given "keys to the city;" both recognized for their efforts

Glendal Deweese and Family.

Morgantown City Council held its last meeting of 2021 on Thursday, December 9, at city hall.

Two individuals with long-term ties to the city were recognized.  Kendall Embry and Glendal Deweese were honored for their hard work over the years and both received official "Keys to the City."
