The Bears tennis teams were in action late last week hosting the Aces from Cloverport (Frederick Fraize High School) on Thursday and traveling to take on the Panthers of Russellville on Friday. The Boys dropped a 4-5 decision to the Aces in the last match of the evening.

UK superfans Amy Smith-Thomas and Debbie Hammers made the short trip to Owensboro last Friday to see UK head coach John Calipari and the 2012 National Championship Trophy.

The BCHS Bears Baseball team has had relatively quiet week so far, but things will heat up this weekend at the Bowling Green Invitational tournament. On Monday, the Bears traveled to Franklin Simpson high school where they faced off against the Wildcats.

The Butler County Tennis Team made two trips up the Natcher this week to take on the Red Devils of Owensboro High School and the Panthers of Daviess County High School. The Girls picked up a 5-4 victory over the Red Devils on Monday night but fell 0-9 to the Panthers on Tuesday.
