The Butler County baseball team’s post-season run ended last week with a 2-0 loss to Edmonson County in the 12th district tournament. The tournament marked the first time that BCHS has hosted the event at their new baseball complex.

Community Action of Southern Kentucky held its 6th annual Charity Golf Classic on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Rolling Hills Golf Course in Russellville, KY, where Johnny Wilson of Smiths Grove, KY shot a HOLE IN ONE on number 11 hole and received a golf cart from Saylor’s Golf Carts!

The BC youth soccer party tonight has been changed! ALL AGE GROUPS will celebrate from 6-8pm at the Butler County Middle School gym. Please use the back doors for entry. U4 and U6 will eat and receive awards during the first hour and the U8 and U10 will eat and receive awards the 2nd hour.

Members of the Bears Baseball team had the opportunity to play on a minor league baseball field last week when they took on the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots at Hot Rods Stadium in Bowling Green. The Patriots defeated the Bears 9-1 after scoring 7 in the 6th.
