Butler County’s Boys and Girls tennis teams both move to 5-1 on the season after completion of two weeks of play.  Last week’s schedule rounded out with a home match against Cloverport on Thursday  and an away match against Owensboro Catholic on Friday.  Both teams won quite easily against Clover

The Butler County Baseball team is 2-3 on the young season.  They have picked up wins over Hopkins County Central 3-1, and Whitesville Trinity 13-4.  The Bears fell to McLean County 1-11, Greenwood 0-16, and Breckinridge County 0-4.

The 2014 softball season gets underway today as the Butler County Bears are set to take the field against Russellville.  Butler County is coming off a 22-14 campaign where they finished runner-up in the 12th District Tournament, advancing to the Third Region Tournament for the sixth straight year

After a two-day delay due to snow, the Butler County High School Bears travelled to Owensboro on Friday night for the opening round of the 3rd Region Tournament. The trip made it three years in a row that the Bears had made it to the regional tourney.
