I used to think that most mothers worried too much....and then I became one.  I have learned more in the past 3 years than probably I have in my entire life.  I also never realized how much I was like my own mom....until I became one.

Are pick-up lines among the lamest things you’ve ever heard? Is there such a thing as a good pick-up line? Does a non-cheesy line exist?  I did a bit of investigative reporting to find the good, the bad, and the flat-out ugly.

A residential garage is a wonderful luxury. Whether it’s attached or detached, a garage is usually built to house vehicles and for storage. Garages are also used to store tools, bicycles, lawn mowers and other items. Since they are used for storage and as work space for projects, some people don’t store their vehicle(s) in their garage.

Some folks in our past, and in our more recent, have said some pretty worthwhile stuff that we can take to the bank. Since much of this worthwhile stuff comes from the Bible, let's establish that authority first-off.

You know why most men don’t carry purses?  They have pickups.  I have a few guy friends, so I have an opportunity to see what they carry around in their trucks, and my purse doesn’t hold a candle. 

As a child I can remember being afraid of the dark.  It's actually a fear that I haven't ever outgrown.  Now that I'm an adult, I just don't dwell on it like I did as a child.  During the storm on Friday night, our power went out while everyone was sleeping.  Of course, being pregnant, I'm up plenty thru the night. I   I was getting back into the bed and trying to get my nest made when it happened. The bathroom light, which we leave on, blinked a few times and then....total darkness.  All that leads me to this....

This had to be stopped, which Colonel Korn succeeds in doing by implementing a rule governing the asking of questions.

First thing I want to say is if people were healed in Bible days then it can happen even today. Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

I’ve noticed that, as I get older, I get more opinionated.  There’s both good and bad to that axiom.  It’s good for me because, well, I write an opinion column.  It’s kind of my job to have an opinion. Also, if you didn’t have an opinion and voice it, people won’t know what you think.  In certain instances, you will be asked for input, your opinion.  People want to know, and you should give that information.
