JoDean Deweese Cox age 85 of Morgantown Ky., passed away Sunday the 12th day of February 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on Sunday the 1st day of January 1938 in Butler County KY., to the late Wallace R. and Ila Pearl Gray Deweese and the wife of the late Emmitt T. Cox. JoDean was one of a kind to say the least,  she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. If you ever entered the Farmboy restaurant she was the Redhead at the cash register with a smile and encouraging you to come back soon.

Darrell "Big D" Chandler, age 58 of Morgantown, KY passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. Darrell "Big D" was born on Wednesday, May 20, 1964 in Franklin, KY to the late James and Jonell Crawford Chandler who survives. He was a former employee of Pig Improvement Corporation and enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and talking to people. Big D never met a stranger. Other than his father he is preceded in death by one brother Gary Chandler. 

Janiel Robert Cardwell, age 61, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at the Medical Center Hospital of  Bowling Green.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on May 2, 1961 to the late Isom Cardwell and Erline Gray Cardwell. He was drywall hanger and attended Brooklyn church.  He loved to fish, hunt and camp. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Cardwell; bother Earl Wade “E.W.” Cardwell, George Cardwell; sisters Virginia Long, Coeta Petty, Anette Cardwell; brother-in-law Glendal Garrison.

Judy R. Coates, age 70 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Judy was born on Friday, November 14, 1952 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Charlie and Kathleen Embry Woosley and wife of the late Phillip Coates. She attended Belmont General Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She loved cooking, collecting cook books, chihuahua puppies and spending time with her family. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one brother David Woosley. 

Nancy Sue Coppersmith, age 70, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023 at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.  Nancy was born May 11, 1952 in Frankfort, Ky. to the late Raymond and Mary Rogers Rice. She was retired from Walmart and enjoyed gardening, growing flowers and birdwatching.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Raymond Rice, Jr. and sister Barbara Cook.

Marilyn Elaine Hollenbaugh Saye of Dunmor, KY passed away peacefully on February 4, 2023 at Morgantown Care and Rehabiliation surrounded by her loving children singing her favorite songs. Born July 1, 1935 in Warren, PA, she was the youngest of five children born to Rev. P. Frank and Mary O. (Best) Hollenbaugh.

J.L. Jones, age 76 of Morgantown, KY passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY. J.L. was born on Sunday, July 28, 1946 in the Cromwell community of Ohio County, KY to the union of the late Paul J. and Ruth Sexton Jones and husband of the late Florence Rucker Jones. J.L. was a United States Army Veteran, member and deacon at Morgantown First Baptist Church. He retired after 25 plus years as the custodian of the Morgantown First Baptist Church. J.L.

Gary W. "Spud" Keel, age 63 of Leonard Oak, KY passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Gary was born on Tuesday, February 3, 1959 in Newton, Texas to the union of the late Bobby and Helen Margarita Keel. He enjoyed going fishing and camping. 

Wanda June Humphrey, age 97 passed away Wednesday the 1st day of February 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center. June was born to the union of the late Eclus "Eck" and Mazie Kitchens Harper on Wednesday the 20th day of January 1926 in the Huntsville Community of Butler County. June was the wife of the late David Hartis Sr., Burna "Chick" Porter and Russell Ben Humphrey.
