Gary W. "Spud" Keel, age 63 of Leonard Oak, KY passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Gary was born on Tuesday, February 3, 1959 in Newton, Texas to the union of the late Bobby and Helen Margarita Keel. He enjoyed going fishing and camping. 

Gary W. "Spud" Keel is survived by his wife of 19 years Gayla Cardwell Keel of Leonard Oak, KY; four children Christopher, Christina, Aleecia and Heather Keel; father in law Sam Cardwell of Leonard Oak, KY; step children Brent Brooks of Leonard Oak, KY and Brittany Duvall of Nortonville, KY; step grandchildren Kagelynn and Layla Duvall of Nortonville, KY; brother in law Sam Cardwell Jr of Leonard Oak, KY and best friend Chris West of Leonard Oak, KY. 

Funeral services will be held at the Leonard Oak General Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 12:00pm. Private burial will be in the Noah Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 10:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm at the Leonard Oak General Baptist Church.
