Philip Stephen Deweese, age 72 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at his residence. Philip was born on Saturday, April 22, 1950 in Hartford, KY  to the union of the late Dewey and Claudia Elms Deweese. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Cool Springs General Baptist Church. Philip was a painter, who enjoyed arrow head hunting, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one sister Levon Ward.

Timothy Ray Moore, age 61 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at his residence. Timothy was born on Tuesday, December 19, 1961 in Greenville, KY to the union of the late Wendell Ray and Frances Rager Moore who survives. He attended Pleasant Rock Full Gospel Church and enjoyed collecting vehicles and watching Gun Smoke. Other than his father he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Noel and Lorena Moore and Maternal grandparents Holbert and Gladys Rager.

Barbara Sue Riddle, age 80 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, April 10, 2023 at her residence. Barbara was born on Monday, September 7, 1942 in Morgantown, KY to the late Viola Flener Weathers and wife of the late Charles Lee Riddle. Barbara spent her early years in Butler County and then moved West with her family. After enjoying many years out West with her children and grandchildren, she moved back to her home in Kentucky. Once there, she renewed her love of flower gardening and spent many hours cultivating beautiful flowers.

Stephen Howard Porter, age 44 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his residence. Stephen was born on Monday, October 23, 1978 in Bowling Green, KY to Robert Ben and Cheryl Dunn Porter. He enjoyed going to school, attending adult daycare and loved spending time with family. Stephen is preceded in death by his grandparents Nuga B. and Bulena Dunn and Leonard Thomas Porter. 

Walter Duncan West, age 53 of Morgantown, KY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at his parents residence. Walter was born on Sunday, August 17, 1969 in Bowling Green, KY to Tesley Duncan and Janice Marie Enochs West. He was a member of Morgantown Community Church and worked many years at Sumitomo Electric and Toyo. Walter enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, music, playing the piano and watching NASCAR races. He is preceded in death by one brother Aaron Jeffrey West; maternal grandparents Leonard and Leah Enochs and paternal grandparents Gettie and Nokie West. 

Rev. Elvie Lee Roberson, Sr., 91, of Owensboro, entered into the gates of Heaven on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home. He was born January 10, 1932 in Drakesboro, KY to the late Arlie and Julia Long Roberson. Elvie worked as a bus supervisor and driver for the Owensboro School System and was a member of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church where he was the pastor since 1975.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Roberson; two sons, Mike Roberson and David Roberson; and a sister, Lois Willett.

Cheryl D. Green, age 51 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at her residence. Cheryl was born on Thursday, April 15, 1971 in Franklin, Indiana to the late Gary A. Ryan and Betty Faye Daugherty Russ who survives. Cheryl enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Carlos Russ; one sister Angela Ryan; ex husband Wayne Green and her grandparents William and Betty Daugherty and Deloris and Chester Ryan. 

Cynthia Diane McCoy Fugate, age 55, of Birmingham, Al. passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the University of Alabama Hospital.  She was born on August 9, 1967 to late Perry Riggins McCoy and Barbara Ann Shaw McCoy. She was a retired legal secretary and loved to take care of her family and home. Cynthia was preceded in death by her father.

Brian Charles Bobbitt, age 54 of Caneyville, KY passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at his residence. Brian was born on Thursday, June 13, 1968 in Rantoul, IL to the union of the late Charles A. and Diane Ackerman Bobbitt. He enjoyed working on cars, watching Ghost Hunters on TV and spending time with family. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one nephew Bradlee Bobbitt. 

On January 12th, 2023 Joanna Betts joined the church triumphant. She is survived by her two children, Larry Lefner and Denise MacDonald, her three grandchildren Erin, Christina & Kyle and her two great – grandchildren Caitlyn and Gavin. She has joined her husband of 63 years, Rodney Colburn Betts in heaven. She will be missed, but never forgotten by the many people who loved and cherished her.
