Mildred Juanita Bradley Hammers Parker

Mildred Juanita Bradley Hammers Parker, 90 of Rochester, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Hospice Center of Bowling Green, Ky. Mildred was born June 5, 1922 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Otis and Ora Hope Bradley and wife of the late Alvin Hammers and Prentice Arnold. She was a member of Rochester Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the Kellwood Company. She was preceded in death by one daughter Gail Johnson, 3 sisters and one brother. Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband Ray Woodrow Parker of Rochester, Ky.; 3 sons Rayden R. Hammers (Betty) of Franklin, Ky., Lowell Hammers (Vicki) of Bowling Green, Ky. and Horace Hammers (Sue) of Rochester, Ky.; grandchildren Cindy Priggie (Tom) of Germany, Stephanie Vanderveer (Mitch) of Louisville, Ky., John Hammers (Tammy) of Bowling Green, Ky., Brandon Hammers (Kelly) of Lancaster, Ky., Scottie Johnson (Veera) of Knoxville, TN and Chad Johnson (Michelle) of Brentwood TN; 8 great grandchildren; special caregiver Michelle Odle of Rochester, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Rochester Missionary Baptist Church Monday, January 21, 2013, at 1:00pm with Bro. Roger Heltsley officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2013, from 3:00pm - 8:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Monday 11:00 am until funeral at 1:00pm at the Rochester Missionary Baptist Church.
