Christopher “Aaron” Phelps

Christopher “Aaron” Phelps, age 39, of Lewisburg, KY passed away on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at his residence.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on Mar. 16, 1985.  Aaron was a prep cook at The Mint Event Center in Franklin, KY.  He enjoyed gaming, cooking, spending time with their dog Kali, cat Diti, listening to music and being in nature.  Aaron was preceded in death by his mother April Phelps.

Aaron is survived by his wife Jodi Feezer; father Chris Phelps (Lora); step-brother Jayden and mother-in-law Kate Robinson; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Wynona Rose Jones

Wynona Rose Jones, age 91 of Brownsville, KY departed this life peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Edmonson County native was born on June 9, 1933 to the late Garland and Dana Elizabeth Skaggs.  She was married to her husband, Rev. Charles Thomas Jones, until the Lord said, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant,” and called him home on February 25, 1994.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Hillary and Magnolia Phelps Adkins; his devoted wife, Janice C. Henderson Adkins; his step-grandson, Sean Sebastian; and two siblings, Alta Phelps and Talma Phelps.

Ralph Renfrow, age 93 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on Monday, April 20, 1931, in Butler County, KY, Ralph's life was a testament to the enduring power of faith, love, and family.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Beulah Cox Renfrow, his brothers Howard, Harold, and Billy Gene Renfrow, his sister Ethel Nash, and three nephews.

Marguerite Phelps Deweese

 Marguerite Phelps Deweese, age 89, passed away on Jan. 5, 2025 at her home in Bowling Green, KY.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on Dec. 10, 1935.  Marguerite was a member of the Woodbury Methodist Church, former president of the Butler Co. Child Abuse Prevention Program (B.C.C.A.P.P.) and a recipient of the 1997 Jefferson Award.  Marguerite started work at the Kane’s sewing facility during the mid-fifties and that work carried her into the seventies.  She then started a career as a dispatcher for the Butler County EMS that spanned over 30 years, concluding with her retirement in 2003.

Born on Thursday, December 18, 1952, in Bowling Green, KY. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Edith Ellis Gary, and her sisters, Sharon Gary and Karon Kay Booth.
