Elizabeth June R. McGuyer, age 85, passed away Monday the 2nd day of January 2023 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center. June was born to the union  of the late William Edwin and Laura Elizabeth Ferguson Richardson on Thursday the 24th day of June 1937. June was the wife of the late Glennis Earl McGuyer. She is preceded in death by one sister Jane Heumann and one step daughter Robin Rhoades.

Reathel Wayne Woodcock, age 80, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022 at his residence.  He was born in Butler Co., KY on August 13, 1942 to the late Charles and Hazel Lindsey Woodcock.  He was a retired boiler maker, an avid fisherman and a was a fan of the PBR Rodeo.  Reathel was preceded in death by his parents and son Timothy Woodcock.

Joyce Flener Mauzy, age 85, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023 at the Morgantown Care and Rehab Center.  She was born in Butler County, Kentucky on November 5, 1937.  Parents were Shirley Jake Flener and Marguerite Cox Flener.

Vinyard L. Ferrell, age 91 passed away Thursday the 29th day of December 2022 at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Vinyard was born to the union of the late William and Myrtle Porter Ferrell on Friday the 11th day of September 1931 in Quality, KY. He was the husband of the late Katie Mae Peay Ferrell. Vinyard was preceded in death by his grandson Bradley Ferrell; son in law James Dukes; four sisters Novie Porter, Dorothy Shelton, Aline Hunt and May Mallory and one brother William Joyce Ferrell.

Mary Ann Johnson, age 93 passed away Saturday the 24th day of December 2022 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab Center. Mary was born to the union of the late Arvel and Fannie Fields Johnson on Monday the 31th day of December 1928. Mary was the wife of the late Sonny Johnson. She is preceded in death by one son Harold Johnson, four brothers Chester, Ben, Len "Inky" and Laron Johnson, two sisters Barbara Coleman and Lilly Marie Johnson and one granddaughter Ashlee' Vincent. Mary was a teacher in a one room school house for 3 years and a homemaker.

Our Mamaw Pat (Patricia Lee Embry) was welcomed into heaven on December 19, 2022 at Jewish Hospital located in Louisville, KY.

She was born July 16, 1960 in Louisville, living to be 62 years old, the daughter of Flora Autry Hicks and the late Clifton Hicks.

Charlotte A. McDaniel Henderson, age 64, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born in Butler Co., KY on July 5, 1958 to the late James Larry “Cowboy”and Anna Josephine Alcorn McDaniel.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and good friend to many. She loved helping people and watching cooking shows to find new recipes to try.

Belinda Kay Ingram, age 67, passed away Tuesday the 20th day of December, 2022 at her residence. Belinda was born Wednesday the 9th day November, 1955 to the union of the late Billy and Shelva Howle Reese.She was retired from Siegal Roberts Factory and enjoyed collecting antiques.

James Harold Simmons, age 71, of Bowling Green, was called home on December 17th to be with his loving wife, Kathy Marie Simmons. He passed away at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.

Wanda G. Rice, age 83, passed away Saturday the 17th day of December 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Wanda was born to the union of the late Bernard C. and Clara E. McCammon Green on Saturday the 18th day of March 1939 in Louisville, KY.  Wanda was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker.
