Lucy Pearl Webster Peay, 97 of Morgantown, KY passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at her residence. Lucy was born November 11, 1921 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Lapo and Elizabeth Grimes Webster and wife of the late Windele Peay. She was a life long member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and worked many years at Kanes Manufacturing and Kellwood, Inc. Lucy enjoyed sewing, cooking, crossword puzzles and taking care of her family. Other than her parents and husband Lucy is preceded in death by four brothers Chester, Robert, Ambrose and James Webster; one sister Virginia Russ; son- in- law Keith Cardwell and grand daughter- in-law Tina Cardwell.

Lucy Pearl Webster Peay is survived by two daughters Carlon Pendley (Dwight) of Morgantown, KY and Patricia Cardwell of Morgantown, KY; seven grandsons Danny Cardwell (Nancy)of Morgantown, KY,  Dennis Cardwell (Jennifer)of Morgantown, KY, Donald Cardwell of Jetson, KY, Mark Cardwell (Michelle) of Leitchfield, KY, Bobby Cardwell (Sonya) of Russellville, KY, Matthew Pendley (Shelly) of Independence, KY and Jeff Pendley (Melanie) of Louisville, KY; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday,October 8, 2019 at 2:00pm with Bro. Jeremy Jessup officiating. Burial will be held in the Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 3:00pm - 8:00pm and Tuesday 8:00am until funeral time at 2:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
