William A. "Buddy" Daugherty

William A. “Buddy” Daugherty, 76, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Signature Healthcare of Hartford. He was born July 29, 1944 in Oak Ridge, Kentucky to the late William Stoy and Gladys Pearl Burden Daugherty. Buddy was retired from Perdue. He refereed Jr. Pro Basketball and umpired softball and baseball for 35 years. He was an avid UK and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Charles Maiden

Charles Maiden, 79, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 surrounded by his family at his residence under the care of Hospice of Ohio County. He was born March 28, 1941 in Ohio County, Kentucky to the late Homer Maiden and Virginia Snodgrass Hayes. He was a retired coal miner.

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by five siblings, Jackie Maiden, Sue Chinn, Kathy Jo Maiden, Ralph Maiden and Patricia Shephard.

Ralph C. Eaton passed on February 25, 2021, at the Medical Center. He was born on September 5, 1931 in Whitley County, Kentucky to Opie Eva and Robert Henry Eaton. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Clark Eaton and his second wife, Janus Benson Eaton. He was preceded in death by his five siblings: Iva Eaton, Eula Eaton, Beulah Eaton Bizzack (Lewis), T. J. Eaton (Margery), Paul Eaton, and a precious daughter, Joanna Clark Eaton Harris.

Brenda Ann Jones, 68 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky . Brenda was born on Friday June 20, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the union of the late Charles and Norma Peak. She was a member of New Beginnings Ministry and a retired house keeper at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Brenda enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds, growing plants and she loved animals. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William N. Jones; one sister Judy Peak and one brother Johnny Peak.

Rosamond Jean "Penny" Allen, 72 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Penny was born on Sunday May 2, 1948 in Warren County, Ohio to the union of the late Adrian Leroy and Betty Lou Craddock Cooper and wife of the late James T. Allen. She attended First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Morgantown, KY and loved her pets. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one sister Judith Palomar.

Jeffrey Allen Wright, 62, of Roundhill, Ky. passed away on Feb. 25, 2021 at The Medical Center. He was born in Rushville, In. on Nov. 24, 1958 to the late Earl and Norma Blandford Wright. He was a painter and enjoyed golf, fishing, bowling, playing cards and helping people.  He was preceded in death by his parents; step son Jamie and brother Stephen.

Anna B. Hunt, 87 of Aberdeen, Kentucky passed away Wednesday February 24, 2021 at her residence. Anna was born on Sunday June 18, 1933 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of the late Lawrence and Zemmie Phelps Howard. She was member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. Anna was the operator of the old Aberdeen Flea Market for many years. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter Bonita G.

Bonita Graham Miller, 63 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born on Friday September 20, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Curtis Price and Joyce Graham Lawrence and wife of the late Kenneth R. "Kenny" Miller . Bonita worked at Kanes for many years and retired from Sumitomo Electric. She enjoyed reading, sewing and playing bingo. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her grandparents who raised her Marion and Lydia Graham and one sister Judy Price.

Thomas Clifton Henderson, 72 of Rockfield, Kentucky passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. Tom was born on Wednesday March 24, 1948 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of the late Charles and Myrtle Fishburn Henderson. Thomas also known as "Tomcat" was a truck driver for many years before starting his own excavating business "Tom Henderson Trucking" in Rockfield, KY, which he retired from just a few years ago. Thomas was a loving husband, father, brother, grandpa, great grandpa, friend and neighbor. He will be greatly missed by many.

Frieda Hammers McKinney

Frieda Hammers McKinney, 92 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at her residence. Frieda was born on Monday December 3, 1928 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of the late Sandy Herman and Lossie Sweazey Hammers and wife of the late William A. McKinney. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and she retired from RCA in Indiana and Assistant Postmaster of the Dunbar Post Office. Frieda was the neighborhood caretaker, she loved to read, cook and garden but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
